MR WALES COMPETITION 2009 – Updated News.
Sadly Rhys didn’t win in the Mr Wales final in Cardiff a few weeks ago.
However, Rhys says he was not disappointed as he enjoyed the experience and added, “I had an amazing time there and it was brilliant to participate in the event competitively and socially as well as the ‘Buzz’ of being on stage in front of huge crowds. Unfortunately I didn’t win but would recommend the competition to other lads as I will never forget it“.
Still it was a great effort by Rhys who despite being rejected by one model agency last year persisted with his modelling and beat off quite a few other male contenders to get to the final of Mr Wales 2009. He also raised quite a bit of money for charity in doing so. No mean feat that and full marks to Rhys for his tenacity.
